In recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, our goal is to fulfill every item on the wishlist. Below, you will find a handful of Grace House wishes this month. Our current wishlist items total $5,000.

Athletic activities are a meaningful, fun way for the girls to grow in their confidence, team building, and conflict resolution skills in addition to health education.

Music is a life-giving outlet for the survivors in our care. Not only does having access to instruments and music education develop their God-given talents and abilities, but it also acts as a tool through their healing journey.

Grace House Wish: A Wireless Microphone

The girls LOVE to sing — to worship, celebrate, and share what’s in their hearts. Karaoke is a favorite activity, and what’s karaoke without a wireless microphone? This will also assist Grace House staff in program activities, trainings, and not losing their voices.

Being in the water and learning how to swim, while having an extracurricular activity to look forward to, is a gift to the survivors in our care and to the staff who schedule their daily activities.

As the girls work hard to learn English, having access to dictionaries that translate Indonesian to English is a huge help and encourages them to continue advancing in their studies.

Grace House Wish: Three Chairs for the Counseling Office

The counseling room at Grace House is a sacred place where survivors do the hard work of unraveling pain and addressing past trauma. Having comfortable chairs available offers an additional layer of comfort and security that ultimately fosters trust and healing.

Grace House Wish: Clinical Office Table

The Grace House Clinical Team needs one large table for meetings, case management planning, and daily work. The plans unfolded at this table with this team will be integral to the healing journey of each resident who calls Grace House home.
