East Java Aftercare Shelter

About Aftercare Sponsorship

The model of aftercare within Compassion First’s residential rehabilitation shelter, Sarah’s House, is one of the most successful models available to survivors of child sexual trafficking and exploitation today.

Our wrap-around system is unique, as unique as each child we serve. It allows for the resident to develop and drive her own individualized program. As we serve each survivor according to her specific needs and pair this with comprehensive holistic care, the result is a gradual movement toward healing, resiliency, and health.

This wrap-around system involves a community of people working together to ensure a continuum of care from the moment of “intake” through graduation when the girl reintegrates into society. Everyday they are on the front lines, tirelessly providing services to the survivors in our care. Their efforts are heroic.

The Community that comes around each girl includes:

  • Case Coordinator
  • Counselor
  • Educator
  • House Mom Team
  • Security Team
  • Executive Director
  • Administrative Staff
  • and you, the Child Advocate and/or Child Sponsor.

Get Involved

There are three distinct ways to provide aftercare for girls who have been victims of sex-trafficking and exploitation.

Sponsor a Girl in  Aftercare

When you sponsor a child for $45/month, you not only provide vital funds for the services she receives, you also begin a friendship. We provide opportunities to communicate and stay updated on her life and progress.

$45 provides one day of care for one resident at Sarah’s house.  It takes 30 sponsors giving $45/month to fully sponsor one girl within our program.

Become a Child Advocate

When you become a child advocate, you choose to advocate for a child among your family, friends and loved ones. Your job is to recruit 14 other people to join you in coming around this child to support them for $45/month. This creates a beautiful community of people rallying together to love, pray for and support one of these precious girls.

If you are interested in being a child advocate, contact us today!

Host a Sponsorship House Party

House parties are a great way to introduce your friends, family, small group or community to how Compassion First serves survivors of sex-trafficking and exploitation. If you are interested in hosting a child sponsorship house party, contact us today.
