It’s not enough for her to simply survive. It’s our goal to see her healed and restored. We are cheering her on as she learns to smile again, laugh again, and see her immeasurable worth and value. We walk alongside each girl that comes into our care to help her discover her own dreams and support her pursuit of them.

Compassion First provides residential and community-based care for Indonesian girls under 18 who have been legally rescued from sex trafficking and have suffered from multiple sexual traumas.

In a loving home with caring staff, each girl is provided with:

Medical care includes check-ups, testing, comprehensive dental care, and emergency surgery.

Residents receive legal counsel, and any trial costs are covered.

Counselors and case-coordinators work with residents, families, and communities to provide individualized trauma counseling, support groups, and therapy.

Our homes employ 24-hour residential staffing (3 house moms and 2 security at all times).

All girls receive clothing, hygiene supplies, meals, and healthy snacks.

Housing and utility costs are covered.

We are licensed educators for girls’ catch up education and college support.

Residents receive in-shelter schooling and/or enrollment and support at a local school from elementary through high school. All public and private academic costs are covered.

We also offer enrichment classes and our program involves athletic, recreational, and community service outings.

Our aftercare facilities are loving homes where a resident is safe and able to heal, grow, and learn for a season of her life.

We are so proud of each resident and her journey toward health and wholeness.

Research has shown that resilience can overcome trauma and improve optimism while decreasing anxiety and depression.

Our Indonesian staff receives ongoing training that is trauma-informed and designed to build resilience. With her care team, each girl designs specific resilience-building targets that help her reach her chosen goals for health personally, relationally, and academically/vocationally.

Compassion First utilizes a wrap-around model of care in which each girl is placed at the center of her program.

She is mentored by her case coordinator, who provides guidance, wisdom and support. Together, they set specific goals and monitor her progress as she plans for the future.

Be A Part of Her Story

Without a long-term aftercare program, many rescued girls face a significant risk of being re-trafficked. Your support will provide her with individualized care and education, giving her the opportunity to heal from her trauma and reimagine her future.
