Meeting Immediate Needs in Indonesia

With COVID-19 safety precautions in place, the fragile economy of the East Java cemetery community is beginning to suffer. Motorbike taxi service, grave maintenance, and other respectable opportunities for income have decreased by 50%. Daily necessities are becoming a struggle for some families to afford.

CF cemetery staff have carefully crafted a relief strategy to meet the immediate needs of families while encouraging individual resourcefulness and dignity. With your help, widows and single mothers with several children will receive a supply package containing milk, rice, cooking oil and other basic necessities to last one month. Mothers of newborns will also receive a month’s worth of baby formula. In addition, our staff is continuing daily community check-ins assessing other needs on a case by case basis.

The average cost of a COVID-19 Community Care Package is $90. Will you help us meet immediate needs today?

Sending a loud message of love and solidarity

Many forecasts predict Indonesia will be hit especially hard with COVID-19 and all the heartache and complications that come with it. In response to these predictions, we launched the Dear Indonesia Project to send a loud message of love and solidarity to our friends there.

Would you join us in sending some cheer to the CF staff, the community, and the girls we serve while they are in quarantine waiting out COVID-19 in Indonesia?

You can make a short video or virtual greeting card and send it along here.
